Legal TrainingWho we areLegal Training is a website dedicated to providing internet based training for Barristers in England and Wales.The legal content is all written by Amanda Millmore, a Barrister of 10 years call, who is currently on maternity leave and so is non-practising at present. Amanda is a tenant in the Chambers of Timothy Raggatt Q.C. at 4 Kings Bench Walk, where she practised Family Law, Personal Injury and Criminal Law. Professional TrainingAmanda Millmore is recognised as an external course provider for the the Bar's Continuing Professional Development programme (CPD). Courses which are accredited for CPD points list the number of hours accreditation that each one carries. Upon completion of an accredited course, your details will be sent directly to the Bar Council to confirm your succesful completion of the course.Privacy PolicyAny information which you provide to us will only be used to administer the training for which you have registered, and to inform the Bar Council of successful completion of the course. Your details will not be passed on to a third party, and will not be used for any other purposes.We may use your e-mail address to occasionally inform you of new developments with the Legal Training website. This happens once or twice per year at most, and all such e-mails have an option to unsubscribe from future e-mails. Whilst using the site, we will record which modules you have accessed. Such information is only used to validate that you have successfully completed the course. PaymentPayment for courses is by secure checkout with our payment partner, PayPal. PayPal will ask you for some information such as your name and address to process your credit card payment. This information will only be used by PayPal for the processing of your payment. You will not be charged anything over and above the course fees for payment using PayPal.
If you wish to pay by cheque then please send an e-mail to help@legaltraining.co.uk for the address to send the cheque to. You will be given access to the course as soon as your cheque has cleared, which may take up to 7 days. An e-mail will be sent to let you know as soon as your cheque has cleared. We also accept direct bank transfer - again, e-mail us for details.
