In this course you will learn about a variety of practical websites with particular attention drawn to the content which is relevant to a Family Practitioner, and which will assist you in your day-to-day family practice.

By the end of the course, you should have an understanding of:

  • the practical websites available which will assist you in dealing with cases involving victims of actual or threatened domestic violence
  • which websites will be of use when dealing with the family/criminal law cross-over in domestic violence cases
  • some online sources of statistics, figures and calculators suitable for use in ancillary relief cases
  • where to locate financial information online relevant to ancillary relief cases
  • the range of online resources available when dealing with the former matrimonial home on divorce
  • some of the websites relevant to cases involving civil partnerships and cohabitation
