In this course you will learn about a variety of general and government legal websites, with particular attention drawn to the content which is relevant to a Civil Practice and which will assist you in your day-to-day practice.

By the end of the course, you should have an understanding of:

  • where to begin when looking for information relevant to a Civil Practice on the Internet
  • the information provided by a variety of professional organisations which is directly relevant for Civil Practitioners
  • the information available on a variety of government websites which is pertinent to a Civil Practice
  • which websites provide access to Court listings, statutes, Law Commission reports and property title plans and Land Register entries
