One of the benefits of online training is the fact that you do not have to venture out to conferences, lectures or seminars, which can be an issue when you have a busy work diary. The instant access element of online training is a huge benefit too, as you don't have to wait to receive documentation in the post to start your training. You simply log on when it's convenient to you.

If you pay by credit or debit card, then you can easily access our CPD courses as soon as you have paid for them - we recommend online payment through our secure shopping basket system to ensure quick and easy access to the training courses. We know, however, that many of our customers prefer to pay us by cheque and we are very happy to accept cheque payments - for more details, click here.

We are conscious that there are a number of postal strikes at the moment, affecting different parts of the country. Therefore if you wish to pay by cheque, we don't want you to experience any delays in starting work on your CPD training (particularly with the deadline for Solicitors looming at the end of October). If you wish to pay by cheque and start straight away, then please send us an e-mail (to help@legaltraining.co.uk) letting us know that a cheque is on its way, and which courses you wish to undertake and we will be happy to accommodate you by giving you access to the courses. We may reserve the right not to release the completion certificate for the course until such time as payment is received.

We are always happy to help our customers, so please do get in touch if we can help you - e-mail: help@legaltraining.co.uk or call 0207 5588247

You are probably familiar with the idea of customers reviewing their purchases when you shop on websites such as Amazon. Well, we have just introduced our own review system, where you can add your comments and give each of our courses a star rating out of five. Our hope is that these reviews will assist other customers when deciding which courses to purchase, both at a glance with the star rating, and by the customer comments.

So please feel free to add a comment and star rating next time you complete a course.

We have retained our feedback questionnaires in case you want to give us confidential feedback or have more detail than can be put in a brief comment. Also, we would ask our solicitor customers to complete the Solicitors Regulation Authority Feedback Questionnaire, as the SRA is keen to have feedback from all course users as part of their ongoing CPD accreditation monitoring.

Do let us know what you think - either with a review, feedback or drop us an e-mail to help@legaltraining.co.uk

Buying courses with a credit or debit card has just got easier with our new Shopping Basket.

Now you can pay simply and easily here on the Legal Training website without having to go to the Paypal or Google Checkout websites. We take your security very seriously so we use the latest technology to secure your online transaction. We do not keep or store your credit or debit card details, and you can be assured of the security of the information that you enter on our website; simply look for the padlock symbol in the corner of your browser as your security guarantee.

Using the Shopping Basket is simple:
  1. Select the course you want to buy.

As you may be aware, on the 31st March 2009 the Bar Standards Board announced a number of changes to their Complaints and Disciplinary System. Our 2009 Guide to Chambers' Complaints Handling course has been rewritten to incorporate these most recent changes, and will help you to understand the relevant guidance. Providing you with a complete, concise guide to the arrangements, this 1 CPD hour accredited course, is all you need to be kept up to date with the latest Complaints Handling information.

Well, it was a busy December for barristers completing their CPD hours; thank you all for your custom! Just to remind you - barristers have just under 2 weeks to file their CPD record card with the Bar Standards Board (by the 31st January) for their 2008 training.

Don't forget that you can find your completion certificates on the homepage once you have logged in - easy to print out for attaching to your CPD record card.

As some of you have asked, we will be keeping our 2008 courses available on the website until at least the end of January, just in case you need a few stray CPD hours. We will be rolling out our 2009 training in the forthcoming weeks.

Have you noticed our new quick login? Rather than having to go to a separate login page, you can now login to the website quickly by using the login  feature in the top right corner of the homepage. Hopefully this makes using our website even easier than before.

Happy New Year to you all!

The falling snow is only on the home page, so it won't get in the way of your courses, and if it really annoys you, you can turn it off - just click on the "Stop Snow" link at the top right.

Christmas is our busiest time of the year. We know that many of you have just a few remaining CPD points to get, and we believe that we offer an ideal way of getting those points before time runs out.
