This course brings Private Client practitioners up to date with all the latest developments. Topics covered include:

  • the extent of an executor’s obligations in relation to estate accounts
  • recent Court of Protection decisions on, amongst other things, the power to sever provisions from a lasting power of attorney and the power to allow trust corporations to act as deputies
  • the power to direct a DNA test to establish paternity
  • the latest developments in relation to charities (including guidance on fundraising, date protection and)
  • whether reverter had been triggered by the closure of a school after its functions had been transferred to a new school
