This course will highlight recent statutory and case law developments on topics of interest to commercial property practitioners. It will provide links to relevant source materials.
By the end of the course you will be able to advise authoritatively on topics such as:
the major implications of the new Electronic Communications Code
making time of the essence in relation to rent review
the proper timing of service of a section 146 notice
the issues to consider when determining who should serve a break notice
the proposed new Service Charge Code for Commercial Leases
